Step 1: When you receive and email with a link in it. Please make sure that before you click on the link:
On PC/Laptop – hover your mouse over the link and the link destination is displayed in the status bar
On Phone/Tablet – long press the link and it will give you an option to review and the destination will be displayed.
Step 2: If you have gone ahead and clicked on the link accidentally, please do not enter any credentials on the webpage. As the webpage might be masked to look like a legit web page and would be recording your information.
Step 3: Once you have concluded that the email is a SPAM/Phishing email please go ahead and block the sender and delete the email.
